The film ‘Daddy Cool’ having Megastar Mammootty in the lead role and Richa Palod as his mate was launched at a function recently.
This film is going to be first attempt in independent directing by Aashiq Abu.
The launch function was attended by actors Vijaya Raghavan, Mani Kuttan, Salim Kumar, Mukesh, Vineet and film makers like Kamal, Shaji N Karun and Shafi.

Shahid Kapoor is being linked up with Priyanka Chopra. It is said that both are deeply in love for the last several months and that he is very protective about Priyanka.But this is not the first time that the actor has been linked to beauties in tinsel town. He was also linked to India’s tennis sensation Sania Mirza mid last year.
Last year a few gossip columnists had gone way ahead and were speculating on Shahid Kapoor, Sania Mirza and Vidya Balan’s love triangle. They claimed that the two most beautiful Indian women were vying deeply in love with Shahid.
But first Vidya Balan denied the rumours saying that she was in the Bollywood to make film and her career and not relationships. Media has a habit of attaching Vidya with all of her co-stars. She praised Shahid for his work and dedication towards his career but said that there was nothing of the sort that media was speculating.
Shahid too has tried to clear the rumours of his alleged romance with Vidya Balan saying, “Well, Vidya and me are just good friends. We definitely get along very well and that’s about it”.
While making a clarification he said that he has got accustomed to such rumours saying, “She’s a very good actor. As for rumours floating around, well, as an actor I am used to all this. You tend to get written about.”
Regarding Sania Mirza Shahid Kapoor said that she is her favourite tennis player. “Sania is my favourite tennis player. I have met her and talked to her. I have nothing to hide about my relationship with her. She can be as good a friend as many other actresses in the film industry.
Director K.V Anand briefed about the title in the press meet. He said that ‘Ayan’ means outstanding or excellence. The word is there in at least five languages including Tamil, informed the director. It can also mean, said the director, the power from sun rays. “So I think Suriya is apt for the title role.” Music director Harris Jeyaraj, who is doing his first movie with AVM, informed that he spent 10 days in Mauritius along with the director to compose songs for the film. Vairamuthu, who writes the lyrics for all the songs, told that ‘Ayan’ in Tamil denotes the four headed God Brahma. He also showered praise on AVM, which stays on top for so many years. He also quoted a couple of lines from a song penned by him for the movie and attributed the lines to Suriya and AVM. Suriya recalled his association with the seasoned production company. He also said that the whole unit has understood the responsibility of working on a film for AVM, which produced the blockbuster ‘Sivaji’. “I will give my 100 % to ensure the success of this movie”, declared the actor. He also said a few words on the relationship between him and Harris, who has scored music for three of his films ‘Khakka Khakka’, ‘Ghajani’ and ‘Vaaranum Aayiram’. The movie, which will go to floors by May, is scheduled to be shot in Malaysia and South Africa. Many of its portions will be shot in Chennai as well.
‘In Harihar Nagar’ will have a sequel. The sequel to the movie will be by none other than actor – producer Lal. Lal is going to debut as an independent director with the movie. Lal will produce the film. The movie is expected to be release in 2009.
In Harihar Nagar is referred to as part of the golden age of Malayalam comedy and among the most hilarious movies in Indian cinema. The famous line “Thomassukutty vittodaa” comes from this movie.

Amal Neerad’s style of action , art direction and costume selection makes that charcter more stronger and stylish.
Item dance of Jyothirmayi is one of great attraction of this film.She looks more charming in this film.
There will be similarities and differences in the premise , milieu and set-up that will give a new look to the story.
