Madambi Should releases on July 4 or 5

Mohanlal has completed the entire shoot of B.Unnikrishnan’s Madambi, on Wednesday morning (June 4) at Ottapalam.

He looked happy and was totally involved throughout the project which he finished in a record 47 days.
Mohanlal was moved to tears while shooting a song with K.P.A.C Lalitha for Madambi.

The song in praise and admiration for his screen mother – Amma Mazhakarinu, Kanu Niranju, Aa Kanneeril Njaan Nanju… written by Girish Puthencherry is sung by the legendary singer Yesudas and tuned by M.Jayachandran.

Remember Jayachandran had earlier composed the super hit Innaley Ente Nenjile… in Balettan sung by Yesudas and picturised on Mohanlal, a song praising his screen father Nedumudi Venu?

But the Madambi song on the feelings for mother according to those who heard it are going to be a memorable song which will move to tears anybody who hears it.

Mohanlal himself says- “The Madambi song on mother is moving. It is one of the best songs that I have heard and B.Unnikrishnan the director has picturised it beautifully.”

He has a lot of hope riding on Madambi, where he feels the director has done something different yet within his image.

Mohanlal does not want to talk about his role as ‘blade’ Gopalakrishna Pillai. He wants the film to do the talking, when it releases on July 4 or 5.

Kamahasan’s Marmayogi

Kamalahasan’s new project should hit the screens next year. His new project is “Marmayogi” .It’s also a big budget movie. He expected 100 crore Rupees for this project .Kamalahasan write the story,conversations and script for this movie as Dasavatharam .But one thing Kamalahasan will direct this movie.He said marmayogi is also fictional film.He will use special camera to shoot this images .In this movie Hema malini has a role .Kajol will be the Heroine in this film

Prithviraj and Vikram in Maniratnam’s New Project

Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam selects actress Priyamani to play second heroine in his next project. The film, which is to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, will feature Vikram as hero in Tamil, while Abhishek Bachchan will feature in the Hindi version. Aishwarya Bachchan plays heroine in both the versions.

Prithviraj will be playing the role of villain and Priyamani has been chosen to pair up with him. It may be recalled that in Ayutha Ezhuthu, Mani shows Maddy as a baddy and Meera Jasmine as his wife. Though the roles are in negative shade, Mani’s style of character designing won rave reviews from critics.

Knowing this well, both Priyamani and Prithviraj are waiting eagerly to enter as members of Mani’s Crew

Hindi Remake Of Ghajini

After completing his children’s film ‘Taare Zameen Pe’, Aamir Khan has begun shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Ghajini .

The Hindi remake is called Kajri and is being directed by A R Murugadass, who directed the Tamil original.

The mahurat of ‘Kajri’ was held in Mumbai a few days back. At the mahurat Tamil filmstar Surya (hero of ‘Ghajini’) was present along with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi who struck the clapper for the opening shot.

Director AR Murugadoss canned the shot while producer Allu Aravind looked on.

‘Kajri’ has south Indian actress Asin playing the lead opposite Aamir. Asin was also the heroine of ‘Ghajini’.

The role of Aamir’s heroine in ‘Kajri’ was previously offered to Ayesha Takia who declined the offer for the reasons better known to herself.

The movie will also have a second female lead who is yet to be finalized.

Twenty:20

The much awaited Malayalam movie Twenty:20 by the Malayalam Artists Association (AMMA) has almost finished 85 percent of its shooting. The film, is directed by Joshi.

Except Meera Jasmine ,the movie will have all Four Malayalam superstars, three frontline heroines, 67 top line actors, 17 playback singers, maximum release centers, One film-‘Twenty:Twenty’, the biggest multistarrer ever to be made in India.This film expected to change the Malayalam film industry in a different way.
The song written by Gireesh Puthencherry starting with ”Ushasssil” is set to music by Berny Ignacius is a five minute song will be sung by 17 leading singers of Mollywood including Dr.Yesudas and Jayachandran, which will be also a record in Indian music industry.
It is reported that Mammootty plays an advocate opposite Gopika.Mohanlal plays a businessman.Bhavana plays Dileep’s heroine.Meera Jasmine is not appearing in the movie.
This multi-starrer film is supposed to release in 118 theaters, the biggest ever release in Malayalam.
